H active control of frequency-varying disturbances in a main engine on the floating raft vibration isolation system

Abstract: Reducing the vibration of marine power machinery can improve warships' capabilities of concealment and reconnaissance. Being one of the most effective means to reduce mechanical vibrations, the active vibration control technology can overcome the poor effect in low frequency of traditional passive vibration isolation. As the vibrations arising from operation of marine power machinery are actually the frequency-varying disturbances, the H 1 control method is adopted to suppress frequency-varying disturbances. “…H N robust control considers the uncertainties of the system and structural parameters, has good ability of robustness and antiinterference, and has been successfully applied in ARIS rack-level isolation system. 13 Song et al 14 designed a H N controller with the shaping design method based on mixed sensitivity problem for a MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) system to suppress single frequency-varying disturbance and the experiment results and the numerical simulation results are basically in line, indicating a good vibration isolation effect. Hampton and Whorton 15 and Calhoun and Hampton.…”

“…The mixed H 2 /H N controller model is primarily calculated by introducing the constrained condition (equation (14)) which could greatly simplify the process of solving the controller model. However, it also makes the results relatively conservative.…”

“…Reducing the vibration of marine power machinery can improve warships' capabilities of concealment and reconnaissance. [1][2][3][4] The vibration and sound radiation characteristics from cylindrical shells are of special concern to vibration and acoustic engineers, and for submarine structures, the structure vibration and the near-field sound radiation affect their detection performance. The purpose of this paper is to provide evidence for reducing the vibration and near-field radiation noise.…”

“…There were also some other control schemes where nonlinear system control was applied. 10,11 For our analysis of an electro-hydraulic servo system, we used various value analysis methods 12 such as the phase trajectory diagram, bifurcation diagram, Poincare´map, spectral analysis and the maximum Lyapunov exponent, all of which can be reliably used to analyze the stability of non-linear systems.…”
