Salter et al (85) studied the output of urinary 17 -ketosteroids, cortin, estrogen and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in these subjects. As a group the gynecomastics showed a significantly lower excretion of 17-ketosteroids than did comparable control subjects while the estrogens were in the low, normal range.…”
