GW24-e1718 Assessment on changes of ventricular aneurysm volume and myocardial torsion and effect on cardiac function in rabbit models with left ventricular aneurysm
Abstract:Objectives
This study aimed to investigate the changes of ventricular aneurysm volume and myocardial torsion and the effect on cardiac function using real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE) and two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2D-STI), to determine the accuracy of RT-3DE and 2D-STI in assessing LV function in the rabbit model with left ventricular aneurysm.
Methods
Thirty New Zealand rabbit models of myocardial infarction concomitant with LVA were prepared by ligation of the middle seg… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
