Abstract:In this umbrella review, we analyze the effect of gut microbiota on the development and progression of colorectal cancer (CRC), a global health challenge. Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines, we searched multiple databases for the most relevant systematic reviews and meta-analyses from 2000 to 2023.
