Gut dsDNA virome shows diversity and richness alterations associated with childhood obesity and metabolic syndrome

Abstract: Summary Changes in the human gut microbiome are associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome, but the role of the gut virome in both diseases remains largely unknown.
