Guidance Simulation and Experimental Verification of Trajectory Correction Mortar Projectile

Abstract: Integrated methods are used in the modification of trajectory, including improved perturbation impact point deviation prediction, adaptive proportional guidance and adaptive proportional differential guidance, thus improving the firing accuracy of guided mortar shell. The six degrees of freedom of both the trajectory model and the control model were established, and their guidance laws were designed based on the three guidance schemes. Firstly, the perturbation impact point deviation prediction method is impro… Show more

“…Mathematical modeling and simulation allow carrying out a wide range of studies to analyze the influence of various factors on the firing process [15]. Possible emergency situations, such as critical rocket path deviations, stability loss due to rocket mass asymmetry, critical rocket deviations due to wind are analyzed [16].…”

“…With the continuous development of weapons and military equipment, fundamental changes in state-of-the-art war strategy have been observed, including the wide use of smart bombs, intelligent missiles, and precision-guided ammunition [1][2][3][4]. Current requirements for weaponry include both precision strikes on military installations and effective reduction of collateral damage to civilians and civilian infrastructure.…”
