durch thermische Belastungen der Tiere individuell unterschiedhch beeinflu/It werden.
Die Belastungen erfolgten in einem Klimastall jeweils neun Tage lang mit+30° C am Tage und + 25°C nachts sowie + 35°C am Tage und + 30°C nachts. Vor und nach den Belastungszeiten lagen normale Kontrollperioden mit + 15°C am Tage und+12°C nachts.
Die varianzanalytische Bearbeitung des Materials gescbah einmal nach Zeiten, zum anderen nach Tieren und drittens nach den Interaktionen Tiere/Zeiten.
Bei der Betrachtung der Veränderungen nach Zeiten erwies sich die erste (schwächere) Belastung mit + 30/+ 25° C als kaum wirksam für die genannten Meβvariablen. Erst die zweite (starkere) Belastung mit+35/+ 30°C veränderte fast alle Prüfwerte sehr stark und zurn Teil so nachhaltig, daβ die Ausgangswerte der Kontrollzeit bis zurn Abschluβ der lo. Woche nach Belastung nicht in jedem Falle wieder erreicht wurden.
Bei der Beurteilung der Keaktion der Individuen waren deutliche Unterschiede in Intensität und Dauer der Ejakulatveränderungen zu beobachten.
Insbesondere hoben sich zwei extrern reagierende Tiere aus der Versuchspopulation heraus, welche relativ günstig und besonders ungünstig reagierteti. Das eine davon war nicht in der Lage, bis zurn Abschluβ seiner Überprüfung, 121/2Wochen nach Belastungsende, wieder Normalwerte zu erreichen. Ob eine Dauerschädiguiag votlag, konnte leider nicbt verfolgt werden. Die anderen vier Tiere verhielten sich intermediär zu den beiden Extremen.
Aufgrund dieser und vorhergehender Versuchsergebnisse liegt die Verniutung nahe, daβ auch innerhalb der Deutscben Schwarzbunten Rinderrasse eine Variation in der Warmeempfindlichkeit vorhanden ist, die es gestatten könnte, diesen Faktor als Selektionsmerkmal zu verwenden.
