Growth of star‐shaped PbWO4 crystal assemblies in TSA solution and their optical properties

Abstract: Star-shaped PbWO 4 crystals have been synthesized in large scale by a hydrothermal route. The influence of reaction time and temperature is studied. It is observed that the luminescence intensity of the same sample increases dramatically with decreasing the temperature, the Luminescence intensity of the different PbWO 4 particles increases with prolonging the reaction time. The luminescence intensity of the particles is affected by the reaction time and temperature.
