Abstract:High-quality single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with narrow diameter distribution can be generated from well-de¯ned Si 8 O 12 nanoclusters structure which form from thermal decomposition of chemically modi¯ed polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS).
