Um dos principais fatores para a produção de mudas de qualidade é a adubação. Dentro deste contexto, alguns materiais orgânicos têm sido utilizados em misturas de substratos ou como fertilizantes para a produção de mudas. O lodo de esgoto é um subproduto da operação da estação de tratamento de esgoto municipal e tem potencial para uso na agricultura devido às altas concentrações de matéria orgânica e nutrientes. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o crescimento e desenvolvimento de mudas de Cariniana estrellensis, adubadas com diferentes doses de lodo de esgoto suplementado com potássio. Os tratamentos consistiram de 0 (controle), 30, 60 e 90 g de lodo L-1 suplementado ou não com 150 mg K L-1. Após 120 dias de experimentação, foram avaliados os parâmetros biométricos, fisiológicos e nutricionais. Os resultados mostraram que a adição de lodo de esgoto ao substrato proporcionou teores foliares adequados de macro e micronutrientes, refletindo maiores parâmetros de altura, diâmetro do caule, área foliar e biomassa seca das plantas em relação ao tratamento controle. As plantas que receberam as doses do resíduo apresentaram maiores médias de pigmentos fotossintéticos, influenciando positivamente nas taxas de trocas gasosas. A aplicação da dose com 30 g L-1 de lodo de esgoto pode ser indicada para a adubação de mudas da espécie, sendo alternativa viável para a destinação do resíduo.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the influence of abiotic factors on the ecophysiological aspects of Handroanthus impetiginosus and Handroanthus serratifolius throughout the day, as well as to indicate the ideal time for ecophysiological evaluations. The design was entirely randomized, with ten treatments and six repetitions for each species. The treatments used were ten evaluation times throughout the day (8h-17h) with an interval of one hour between them. Climatic variables evaluated were internal and external temperature, relative humidity of the internal and external air of the greenhouse and the photosynthetically active radiation of the environment. Ecophysiological aspects evaluated were: net CO 2 assimilation, stomatal conductance, transpiration, internal CO 2 concentration, vapor pressure deficit, instantaneous water use efficiency, intrinsic water use efficiency and instantaneous carboxylation efficiency. The canonical correlation analysis and principle component analysis were used to verify associations between climatic and ecophysiological variables. In both species, climatic variables were correlated with ecophysiological variables, with higher association between photosynthetically active radiation, internal and external temperature of environment, with the rate of net CO 2 assimilation, stomatal conductance, transpiration, instantaneous carboxylation efficiency and vapor pressure deficit. The influence of climatic factors on the ecophysiological aspects of H. impetiginosus and H. serratifolius was verified. In both species, the ideal time of day for measuring ecophysiological variables is between 11h and 13h.
