Growth and chemical composition of flax cultivars on artificially salinized soil

Abstract: J. Plant Sci. 75: [159][160][161][162]. Seven flax cultivars, grown in a greenhouse in nonsaline, moderately saline, and strongly saline-(l , 6, and 12 dS m-t; soils had greater dry weightJ of plant to=ps on moderately saline treatment. Tops had higher K*. and Na* concentrations on the saline treatments, but K:Na ratios decreased with increasing salinity.
