Growth and Characterization of Promising Nlo Crystal: Meta Nitroaniline

Abstract: A good optical quality Meta Nitroaniline (mNA) single crystal was grown by slow evaporation method at room temperature. The grown crystals have been subjected to single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) to determine the unit cell dimensions. The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra have been recorded in the range 4000-400 cm -1. UV-Vis spectrum shows that the grown crystals have wide optical transparency in the entire visible region. The optical energy band gap of the grown crystal is found to be 4.3 eV. Th… Show more
