Group decision making based on generalized intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized geometric operator

Abstract: Intuitionistic fuzzy set was studied by many authors because it is a powerful technique to depict uncertainty, which is a set containing three functions: the membership function; the nonmembership function; and the hesitancy function. The aggregation of intuitionistic fuzzy values (IFVs) is of paramount importance in decision making. In this paper, we research IFVs aggregation problems, where there exist a prioritization relationship over the aggregated arguments. First, we propose the generalized intuitionist… Show more

“…Then experts are asked to estimate each alternative. After obtaining the values of the alternatives, each value should be divided by the sum of all the values and then obtain a matrix where the values are normalized [65][66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73]. The matrix of the values is called the normalized alternatives' scores against criteria and the matrix is denoted as = [ ] in Table 1.…”

“…IFS is characterized by a membership degree and a non-membership degree, so it is more effective to deal with uncertainty and vagueness in real applications than Zadeh's fuzzy sets. Since its appearance, IFS has been investigated by many researchers and applied to many fields, such as pattern recognition (Hong, Choi 2000;Hung, Yang 2004, 2007, market prediction (Liang, Shi 2003) and decision making (Liu 2009;Liu, Wang 2007;Chen 2011;Li 2010;Wei 2010a, b;Wei 2011;Wei et al 2011a, b;Yu 2012;Yu 2013;Yu et al 2012;Xia et al 2012). As a hot topic in the theory of IFS, intuitionistic fuzzy information aggregation has been investigated widely by many researchers from different points of view.…”
