Groundwater Vulnerability Analysis of Tirnavos Basin, Central Greece: An Application of RIVA Method

Abstract: A novel index-based method (RIVA) for assessing intrinsic groundwater vulnerability was applied to Tirnavos basin (central Greece) to assess the susceptibility to surface-released contamination. Data from field surveys, previous studies, and literature were used to calculate the factors that compile the RIVA method.
