Ground State Energy Eigenvalues of an Octic Oscillator with Quartic and Sextic Anharmonicities

Abstract: Here we derive the energy eigenvalues of an octic anhormonic oscillator that also has quartic and sextic anharmonic terms using Ginsberg-Montroll method. Numerical values are computed using Mathematica for different values of the anharmonic coefficients.
