Abstract: This research article exhibits a utility grid-interfaced solar photovoltaic (SPV) system for power quality enhancement. An adaptive proportional integral derivate (APID) controller with a unit vector template (UVT) is employed to generate a reference current signal of a shunt active power filter (APF).
