The advancements in the field of information technology in recent years have been very influential in affecting all domains that can utilize the power of data analysis for making decisions. Such domains that have been seeing new ideas implemented in their conventional methods are that of education and training. The advent of Internet of Things (IoT) has made monitoring and tracking of data very efficient. Data can come from a variety of sources, from wearables to smart class objects. To unlock the true potential from this technology, educators are urged to introduce IoT in their curriculum to help speed up the process. In this study, the various studies in the fields of wearables in education, vocational training, medicinal training, Green IoT and Smart City are reviewed. The implementations of Machine Learning (ML) in IoT are also explored, proving its viability in tasks such as bunching and classification. However, even with the abundant studies in the fields of IoT and education, its successful implementations are relatively scarce, thus bottlenecking current research.

To improve the protection of economyas well as environment, Green communication is used in Health, Education, Industry, as well as Ecosystem for overcoming the stumbling blocks which destroy the IoT’s ecofriendly as well as sustainable nature of the sources of energy. Followed by that, to meet these problems, green communication technologies started to decrease the losses of energy as well as decrease electronic -wastes and contaminations; for example, energy-aware tags, green cloud models, as well as resource-constrained data centers. Energy-aware decreased RFID tags with least possible frequencies employed to efficientlytrackpatients, hospital bed allotments, automatically distributing the pills, managing attendances at the entrances in various institutes, tracking children at school, digital library cards, managing supply chains. Adding to that, the green cloud employs effective switching as well as VM techniques to save energy, thereforeemployedto efficiently storeas well as retrieve of medical, institutional, as well as industrial data. Following that, green data centers alongside the least carbo footprints as well asconsuming power assistingMedical field, Educational, Industrial needsthrough saving the price for managing repositories. Though there are benefits, it is crucial to investigate it better using the new green computing technologies for IoT.This paper describesdifferent trade-offs whilemaking green IoTbe sustainable.It finds out an efficient platform to start new studies to demonstrate new and innovative green communication solutions for IoT in Health, Education, Industry.

Intelligent disaster management and green computing constitute rapidly expanding research areas spanning the fields of soft computing, environmental technologies, computer science, engineering and information management. The explosion of Open and Big Data have given rise to new opportunities for understanding and solving formerly intractable environmental and disaster management challenges. The use of Big Data has now been mainstraimed into all recent trends in computing and engineering as well different disciplinary fields such as computational biology, disaster response, healthcare, social networks, finance, transportation and telecommunications. This special issue provides a unique and powerful vehicle for disseminating the latest research dealing with intelligent disaster management and green computing research, development, applications and its intelligence. The rise of Big and Open Data-and the ease with which scientists, communities, thought leaders and decision makers can access it-redefining how governments, civil society and the private sector operate. References to Big and Open Data have grown exponentially over in the past several years, and examples of big data abound, giving rise to a new philosophy of 'open-source environmental governance and disaster management', that promotes a linkage between the principles of the disaster science, green computing and open-source and open-content movements.This set of distinguished eighteen papers strengthens interdisciplinary linkages between the fields of green computing and disaster science investigates current gaps in environmental technologies and and the opening of new research directions in the era of Big and Open Data era.
