GREEKS, BARBARIANS AND AESCHYLUS' SUPPLIANTS

Abstract: Ten years after producing the Persians in 472 BC, in which Greeks and barbarians are locked in conflict with each other, Aeschylus in the Suppliants explores the inextricable intertwining of Greekness and barbarity.
