“…Hence, although the graphene might be affecting the crystallite size and spherulite structure, the crystallinity degree can be considered constant, as it does not present any significant variation with the graphene content increase. This behavior has been reported in the literature for composites containing high loadings of graphene particles due to formation of aggregations that act as physical barriers interrupting the crystallization process [27].…”

“…1. For the neat HDPE, the crystallization temperature (T c ) occurred at approximately 117 C and as the graphene content increased to 28 wt%, T c shifted to 122 C. This behavior could be an indicative that the graphene particles act as nucleating agent for this polymer [10,13,27]. Moreover, small peaks (shoulders) can be seen in addition to the main peak at high graphene loadings (starting from 10 wt%).…”

“…Lei et al prepared graphene-enhanced low-density polyethylene by pretreating and the melt-compounding method, and revealed its thermal stability and improved mechanical properties by scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectra etc. [ 47 ]. Bu et al explored the advancement of antioxidant functionalized graphene oxide filler in promoting the thermal stability and retaining the electrical insulating properties of low-density polyethylene [ 48 ].…”
