Abstract:Maximization of the second smallest eigenvalue of the graph Laplacian has recently been studied in the field of cooperative control. Instead of the second smallest eigenvalue, we design a gradient-based control law for multiple agents to maximize an arbitrary nonzero eigenvalue. The gradient of an eigenvalue is derived through a standard sensitivity analysis. Furthermore, connections are drawn between the connectivity control and Pursuit-Evasion (PE) problems with multiple players. A gradient-based strategy is… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
