Granular Cell Tumor Presenting as an Axillary Mass: Correlation Between Clinical, Radiologic, and Cytologic Findings

Abstract: A 39-year-old African American woman presented with a left axillary mass which had been present for 22 years and had increased in size for the past 2 years. Physical examination revealed a 2 cm mobile, nontender mass. The breast and the contralateral axilla were unremarkable. Both mammogram and ultrasonogram revealed a 2 cm irregular mass (Figs. 1,2).
