“…Similar high-K magmatism also occurs in east Greenland (Fig. 3), with examples in the Batbjerg Complex (Brooks et al, 1981) and in Milne Land (Kalsbeek et al, 2008). In Milne Land, heavy minerals have been eroded from the plutons and subsequently concentrated in Jurassic placer deposits (Larsen et al, 2003) that are of interest for their REE enrichment.…”

“…Record of Columbia supercontinental cycle related orogens worldwide includes CITZ, ADFB, SMB, and EGMB of India (Bhowmik et al, ; Mukhopadhyay et al, ; Roy & Prasad, ); North orogen of North China; Trans‐Hudson orogen; Penokean orogen; Taltson‐Thelon orogen of Canadian Shield; Trans‐Antarctic orogen of East Antarctica; and Capricorn orogen of Australia (Hou et al, , and references therein; Figure ). An overall apparent clockwise rotation of the continents after the Columbia phase gives the configuration of the Rodinia supercontinent in ~1.0–0.9 Ga. Imprints of Rodinia tectonics are well documented from the CITZ (Lippolt & Hautmann, ), ADFB (Bhowmik et al, ; Buick, Allen, Pandit, Rubatto, & Hermann, ; Deb, Thorpe, Krstic, Corfu, & Davis, ), EGMB (Chatterjee et al, ), CGGC (Chatterjee et al, ; Maji et al, ; Sanyal & Sengupta, ; present study), and SMGC (Chatterjee, Mazumdar, Bhattacharya, & Saikia, ) of India; Albany‐Fraser hills of Australia; Bunger Hills of East Antarctica (both referred in Harris, ); Yangtze Block of South China (Zhou, Yan, Kennedy, Li, & Ding, ); Grenville Province of Laurentia (Kalsbeek, Higgins, Jepsen, Frei, & Nutman, ); and Sunsas orogen and Putumayo orogen of Amazonia (Rizzotto, Hartmann, Santos, & Mcnaughton, ; Figure ). The Grenvillian dates recorded from India and abroad are presented in Table .…”
