GRAMD1C regulates autophagy initiation and mitochondrial bioenergetics through ER-mitochondria cholesterol transport

Abstract: During autophagy, cytosolic cargo is sequestered into double-membrane vesicles called autophagosomes. The origin and identity of the membranes that from the autophagosome remain to be fully characterized.
