Abstract: Na primjeru koksare u Bakru zatvorene koncem 20. stoljeća, autori problematiziraju odnos industrije i grada sagledan iz perspektive lokalnoga stanovništva u suvremenosti. Rad kombinira polazišta urbanih studija, postindustrijske antropologije i studija javnozdravstvenih problema, a cilj mu je analizirati društvenu dinamiku i prijepore izazvane industrijalizacijom, kao i deindustrijalizacijom bakarskog područja.
