Abstract:For fast acquisition of GPS pseudo-noise (PN) code, folding is often used to speed up the search process. By properly incorporating the folding in the compressive sensing (CS) framework, a new low-complexity GPS signal acquisition scheme is proposed. In the CS reconstruction step, a new method is proposed termed projection elimination (PE) algorithm, which has lower computational complexity and nearly the same performance compared to the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm for very sparse signals. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
