Introducción: Se plantea el objetivo de explorar cómo la probabilidad puede ser aplicada para entender interpretaciones y significados en contextos no solo matemáticos sino también filosóficos y lingüísticos desde una perspectiva leibniziana. Metodología: La investigación se desarrolla siguiendo una metodología predominantemente teórica y analítica. El estudio sigue un enfoque hermenéutico que determina concepciones desde la dialéctica interpretativa de textos de referencia. Resultados: El grado de esencia le reporta al sujeto un dato ontológico que se encapsula bajo el estatuto preciso y controlado del número. Las alternativas de sentido y la polisemia del lenguaje exigen que la matematización de la hermenéutica se haga de forma exhaustiva, de modo que el número, como extracto ontológico, provea un indicio de realidad. Discusión: La probabilidad no sólo ayuda a modelar matemáticamente la realidad, sino que también permite entender y predecir comportamientos y resultados en contextos donde la certeza es inalcanzable. Conclusiones: El análisis conceptual refleja el entrelazamiento de la probabilidad y la filosofía, particularmente a través de la figura y el trabajo de Leibniz.
