Going in quest of potential tetraquark interpretations for the newly observed 
<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mi>T</mml:mi><mml:mrow><mml:mi>ψ</mml:mi><mml:mi>ψ</mml:mi></mml:mrow></mml:msub></mml:math>
 states in light of the diquark-antidiquark scenarios

A novel approach is introduced for obtaining precise solutions of the pairing Hamiltonian for tetraquarks, which utilizes an algebraic technique in infinite dimensions. The parameters involved in the transition phase are calibrated based on potential tetraquark candidates derived from phenomenology. Our investigation shows that the rotation and vibration transitional theory delivers a reasonable agreement with other works for heavy tetraquarks compared to other methods. To illustrate the concept, we compute the spectra of several tetraquarks, namely charm, bottom, bottom–charm and open charm and bottom systems, and contrast them with those of other particles.

We study the hadronic coupling constants in the two-body strong decays of the fully-charm tetraquark states with the $$J^{PC}=0^{++}$$ J PC = 0 + + , $$1^{+-}$$ 1 + - , and $$2^{++}$$ 2 + + via the QCD sum rules based on rigorous quark-hadron duality. Then we obtain the hadronic coupling constants and partial decay widths therefore total decay widths, which support assigning the X(6552) as the first radial excitation of the scalar tetraquark state. And other predictions can be used to diagnose exotic states in the future.
