Glycinate Complexes of Zinc and Cadmium

Abstract: Homo-17a-oxa-l,4-androstandiene-3,17-dione, 2.00 g., was dissolved in 60 ml. of pyridine and hydrogen sulfide was bubbled into the solution for two hours. Then 2 drops of piperidine was added and the reaction was allowed to stand for 3 days. After this time 200 ml. of water was added and the solution was extracted three times with ether.
