Abstract: The most abundant tripeptide—glutathione (GSH)—and the major GSH-related enzymes—glutathione peroxidases (GPxs) and glutathione S-transferases (GSTs)—are highly significant in the regulation of tumor cell viability, initiation of tumor development, its progression, and drug resistance.
