Abstract: Nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drug glucural (water-soluble N-methyl-D-glucosamine complex with 6-methyluracyl) improves survival of isolated rat hepatocytes stored in suspension. This effect of glucural is presumably explained by its membranotropism.
