Abstract: Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) is an anti‐cancer therapeutic strategy based on the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon local ultrasound (US) irradiation of sono‐responsive molecules or nanomaterials that accumulate in the tumor.
