Abstract: Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), the most common endocrine disorder in reproductive-age women, is characterized by androgen excess, polycystic appearance of the ovaries, and ovulatory dysfunction. PCOS women have an increased prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors, such as increased blood pressure, insulin resistance (IR), and obesity.
