Abstract:Pakistani TV dramas package and glorify misogynistic behavior as gestures of romance. It systematically portrays man-handling, eve-teasing, stalking, assault as normalized behaviors necessary to control women. Stereotypical tropes are reinforced regarding both genders, sustaining the status quo between them.
