Global sampled-data output feedback stabilization for a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems with quantized input and unknown output gain

Abstract: This paper aims at addressing the sampled-data output feedback control problem for a class of uncertain switched stochastic nonlinear systems, whose control input is quantized by a logarithmic quantizer and the output gain cannot be precisely known. We design a compensator with the quantized information. With the help of the feedback domination approach and the backstepping design method, a sampled-data output feedback controller is constructed with appropriate design parameters and a maximum sampling period t… Show more

“…Based on the feedback control method and the back-stepping method, the sampled-data output feedback controllers were designed to study the mean-square global exponential stability of switched stochastic nonlinear systems and switched large-scale stochastic nonlinear systems, respectively. 24,30 And nonlinear multi-agent systems were also studied by sampling methods in References 28 and 29. Furthermore, the robust exponential stabilization of switched neutral nonlinear systems with time-varying delays was investigated by a linear matrix inequality method based on the relationship between the sampling period and the dwell time of two switching instants (i.e., sampling interval without or with a switching), 31 and Zhao et al 27 proposed and designed a simpler sampled-data controller for switched nonlinear systems by the back-stepping method.…”

“…So how to use sampling methods (periodic or random sampling) to study the robust performance of stochastic nonlinear systems and switched nonlinear systems has gradually become a hot topic in recent years, see References 7,24‐29 and references therein. Based on the feedback control method and the back‐stepping method, the sampled‐data output feedback controllers were designed to study the mean‐square global exponential stability of switched stochastic nonlinear systems and switched large‐scale stochastic nonlinear systems, respectively 24,30 . And nonlinear multi‐agent systems were also studied by sampling methods in References 28 and 29.…”

“…However, stochastic disturbances exist in many practical nonlinear systems. Over the past few decades, many meaningful accomplishments have been obtained for stochastic nonlinear systems (Jiang and Zhai, 2019; Lan and Li, 2017; Li et al, 2020; Min et al, 2019; Niu and Liu, 2017; Qin and Min, 2020; Song and Zhai, 2019). To name a few, by means of an auxiliary system, an output-feedback controller was presented in Min et al (2019) for stochastic nonlinear systems with input saturation.…”
