Global, Low Amplitude Cortical State Predicts Response Outcomes in a Selective Detection Task

Abstract: Spontaneous neuronal activity strongly impacts stimulus encoding and behavioral responses. We sought to determine the effects of neocortical prestimulus activity on stimulus detection.
