The purpose of the work was to demonstrate the evolution of agricultural technologies, which leads to the orientation of agriculture towards the use of nature-like farming, using the example of the human civilization development. It was shown that in the XX century, the stage of development of soil cultivation technologies, associated with the transition from "gray" extensive technologies for managing natural resources, which were focused on momentary economic feasibility, to non-traditional farming technologies, began. It was demonstrated that a natural transition is currently taking place from the technology development strategy based on the principle of maximum entropy production by G. Ziegler, to the strategy of minimum entropy production by I. Prigozhin, which is based on the rationalization of the use of the planet's resources. It was confirmed that at the present stage humanity has approached the change of technologies from the extensive development and use of natural resources to rationalizing their use − "green farming", which is characterized by a more natural agricultural technology of soil cultivation; mulching its surface with plant residues which leads to a decrease in soil erosion and unproductive evaporation; minimizing soil compaction; reducing the need for irrigation; reducing the use of herbicides through the use of cover crops, etc.

In the context of the digital transformation of the region’s economy, the focus of attention of scientists and practitioners in terms of institutional changes is on rationalizing the economic relations of business entities. Institutions form the organizational-economic and regulatory-legal backbone of support for promising sectors of the economy, uniting not only social institutions, but also the structures that implement them. If laws can be changed quickly enough, informal regulations change gradually. Wherein, it is informal institutions that create the basis for evolutionary changes in legislative and regulatory rules. Nowadays, the set of regulations and means that are designed to provide institutional support to economic entities in the region is supplemented by the theme of sustainable development and the principles of environmental, resource-saving, social and corporate cooperation (ESG, Environmental, Social, Governance). From the point of view of these principles implementation, it is assumed to create and implement the modern sustainable ecologically-oriented ecosystem objects [1]. In our study, we proceed from the fact that the basis of the digitalization of the regional economy and its sustainable development is the institutional support of the economic system. It is the institutions that are provided with the most important role in ensuring the digital transformation of the basic sectors of the region’s economy. In its turn, the digital transformation of economic sectors depends on the market potential of the infrastructure, development of financial, legal and other aspects that implement the integration relations of economic entities. Taken together, these terms determine the competitiveness of the region’s economy. There is an objective need for development of theoretical and methodological provisions for formation of institutional support for the region’s economy in new post-COVID normality. Special attention of the authors was focused on the study of the institutional support of the digital sector of the economy of the Chechen Republic, which is a driving force and a tool for solving a whole range of economic, social, environmental and cultural problems that are urgent in the region. This circumstance determines the relevance of this study, the significance of the tasks set and the recommendations provided.

Difficult environmental, economic, social and political conditions require an in-depth analysis of interdisciplinary relationships at industrial areas. The “Subsurface Management System” is a complex of developed subsoil resource fields characterized by geological, geomechanical and aerogasdynamic processes, and industries linked with each other through flows of energy, matter and information, integrated with civil society and environment. The flow of biogenic elements in subsurface management areas tend to increase the physical flows exporting the elements of biological product flow to the global ocean. The flows of energy in subsurface management areas in form of clean primary production of bioenvironment are changing fundamentally towards expansion of anthropogenic (man-made) factor channel by 8-12%. The flows of environmental information in subsurface management areas contain details about compliance of the environmental conditions with biological regelation. The introduced original term “subsurface management system” accounts for distribution of flows of energy, matter and information between the system components, enabling objective analysis of effective performance of the system and its compliance with sustainable development strategy of industrial areas.
