Abstract:Glanzmann's thrombasthenia is an uncommon congenital disease due to an anomaly qualitative or quantitative of the glycoprotein complex GPIIb / IIIA with the consequence of a defective platelet aggregation. Hemorrhages in pregnant women with this bleeding disorder can be severe and may require aggressive treatment with a combined therapy including platelet concentrates, anti-brinolytics and rFVIIa.
