Giant Ganglioneuroma of the Spine and Mediastinum

Abstract: The case of a 15-year-old girl with a large ganglioneuroma in the mediastinum and spinal canal is presented. The tumour initially manifested as scoliosis. Its diagnosis was made on the basis of CT scanning and magnetic resonance imaging, and confirmed by thoracoscopic mediastinal biopsy. Radical tumour excision was indicated.
