Giant exophytic tumor of the leg

Abstract: Amyloidosis is a heterogeneous group of diseases with the most common form being systemic distribution. The least common type of the disease is tumor formation due to deposition which is called “amyloid tumor (amyloidoma)”. Although such tumors can occur in any region of the body, extremity localization is fairly seldom. Here, we report the clinical and histopathological features of amyloidoma in an 81-year-old female patient who presented with a large rapidly growing mass in the left lower extremity.
