Giammusso corporoplasty for the treatment of isolated congenital ventral penile curvature: Results and long‐term follow‐up

Abstract: Penile deviation may be a congenital condition, isolated or associated with urethral plate malformation such as hypospadias, or linked to an acquired abnormality, such as La Peyronie or induration penis disease. Isolated congenital penile curvature (CPC) would appear to be caused by an asymmetric, inharmonious growth of the tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa, disproportionate corpora length and increased elasticity of the tunica.
