Ghrelin administration affects circulating pituitary and gastro-entero-pancreatic hormones in acromegaly

Abstract: Objective: Ghrelin, a gut -brain peptide involved in the control of energy homeostasis, affects anteropituitary and gastro-entero-pancreatic (GEP) hormone secretion in healthy subjects.
