GHHECR Protocol for Energy Conserving Routing in Sensor Networks

Abstract: Energy management is the prime issue in the domain of Sensor networks where the deployment process requires a continuous resource of energy. Most of the energy required during communication over the network results a need of energy conserving routing protocols in sensor networks.

“…Group head hierarchical energy conserving routing protocol called GHHECR is proposed in [25]. Their GHHECR aims the achievement of energy conservation through the use of both an energy efficient routing strategy and energy aware route selection scheme [25].…”

“…However, the existing works on NNs does not concentrate much on the security measures. All the three data aggregation techniques: REM [14], GHHECR [25] and CCA [26] consider the reduction in cost and the consumption of energy as the major objective. Results do not give accurate values and thus there is no information about how many nodes are put into sleep.…”
