Abstract: Oxidative stress is thought to be one of the common mechanisms for several neonatal diseases in premature infants. Moreover, fat-soluble antioxidant vitamins, i.e., retinol and α-tocopherol, have been found to be low in preterm neonates; however, data are limited.
