Gestão em Unidades de Conservação: Consequências da Afetação da ReservaExtrativista Marinha Araí-Peroba – Pará

Abstract

The Conservation Units present themselves as tools for the protection and conservation of the environment, however on a global scale, most of these spaces are pressured to the point of going through the process of disaffection, which consists of reducing their limits or recategorization, thus compromising your goals. However, the Resex Marinha Araí-Peroba, the study area of the present work; presented the inverse path, where in 2014 it went through the Allocation process, thus increasing its limits, characterized as an exception to what is expected in the dynamics of protected areas. Entering the theme, this article is initially divided into introduction and methodological procedures, in order to explain the causes and consequences of this unique process that occurred in the Resex Marinha Araí-Peroba, in order to identify, if the process of increasing limits was beneficial to this Conservation Unit.
