Abstract: Guazuma ulmifolia Lam. é uma espécie de rápido crescimento que permite cobrir o solo rapidamente e frequentemente utilizada em programas de restauração florestal, entretanto, há poucos estudos sobre esta espécie, e a falta de informação pode resultar em inssucesso de implantação de programas de restauração florestal.
