Geri Dönüştürülmüş Polipropilen Nonwoven Teleflerin Spunbond Kumaşlarda Kullanılabilirliğinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Some properties of the spunbond fabric, which is obtained as a result of polypropylene (PP) based nonwoven (spunbond and meltblown) fabric wastes, whose usage areas and usage amounts are increasing rapidly, are converted into granules and mixed with the original PP raw material at certain rates and included in the production, have been examined. First of all, Spunbond-Meltblown fabric wastes, which were turned into scraps, were mixed in certain proportions to obtain granules. The melt flow index value of Recycle-PP1 waste was determined as 38 MFI, and the melt flow index value of Recycle-PP5 50%-50% Spunbond-Meltblown waste mixture was determined as 137 MFI. Spunbond fabric was obtained by mixing 0-5% Recycle-PP1 granule with the original raw material. The highest rate of working without any quality problem and in the most efficient way was determined as 5%. The use of larger amounts of recycled granules caused fabric defects. It was observed that the strength of spunbond fabrics produced with 5% doping decreased by approximately 24.5% compared to the strength value of the fabric that was not added at all. With the study, the usability of recycled granule-added spunbond fabrics for suitable sectors according to the determined strength values has been revealed.
