Geostatistical and morphological methods applied to three‐dimensional microscopy

Abstract: SUMMARYThree‐dimensional (3‐D) images of osteocyte lacunae were examined on a confocal microscope. Both geostatistical and morphological processing techniques were used to improve and to analyse them.
