Studies about Dermatobia hominis larvae have been described, but no data were found regarding dairy cattle from organic production system in tropical region. The herd consisted of dairy crossbred zebu x taurine. Fortnightly inspection inspections with mapping for the presence of larvae in the body surface was carried out over the period of a year in the area of the Integrated "groecological Production System -I"PS/RJ -a technical cooperation project. The results indicated predominance of parasitism in females average . . In males, the highest number of nodules were on the right side . in females, highest number of nodules were on the left side. The infestation in adults average .was highest animals in lactation were less infested average . in young animals, the most infested side was the left the most infested coat was the black on white average . the less infested coats were red with typical shades average . and light brown and dark . . Each increment of mm ³ of water caused a mean increase of . in the relative risk of occurrence of dermatobiosis and with every one degree increased there was an average increase of . in the relative risk for infestation.

RESUMOCom base nos dados absolutos do Censo Agropecuário 2006, estruturou-se um sistema geográfico de informação e aplicou-se o método de análise multicritério para categorizar e avaliar o desenvolvimento da pecuária leiteira em Minas Gerais, Brasil. As variáveis selecionadas foram representadas espacialmente, classificadas e reclassificadas. Considerando-se seus pesos ponderados, foram combinadas por procedimentos de álgebra de mapas, em que se conformou o mapa com a caracterização do desenvolvimento leiteiro. Dos 853 municípios, 53 foram classificados como altamente desenvolvidos, 55 desenvolvidos, 229 moderadamente desenvolvidos, 500 pouco desenvolvidos e 16 não desenvolvidos. Encontrou-se associação entre o tamanho dos municípios e o desenvolvimento leiteiro; os de maior desenvolvimento tiveram área média de 175.414ha, e os de menor desenvolvimento apresentaram área média de 44.947ha. Esta abordagem para a integração espacial de dados censitários da pecuária possibilita uma nova forma de conhecer a realidade no seu desenvolvimento e promove sua aplicação em outros temas relacionados com a saúde e a produtividade animal. A cadeia produtiva do leite gera renda mensal, diminui o êxodo rural do homem do campo e, no cenário mundial atual, apresenta ótimas expectativas de crescimento (Paiva et al., 2012). Porém, o crescimento agropecuário tem gerado novos problemas que requerem identificar, quantificar e avaliar os deslocamentos e as tendências na ocupação do território (Garagorry e Filho, 2008).

Aplicação do geoprocessamento na análise da distribuição espaço-temporal de áreas potenciais à ocorrência simultânea de dermatobiose e carrapato Rhipicephalus microplus em bovinos no Município de Seropédica, RJ, Brasil. Com o uso da função Avaliação, deste programa, permitiu-se a superposição dos mapas temáticos digitais selecionados do município, gerando mapas que demonstraram simultaneamente a distribuição espacial e temporal da dermatobiose e do carrapato por estação do ano, os quais, sendo analisados pela função Assinatura, produziram-se relatórios com dados em hectares e percentual de áreas com diferentes potenciais a ocorrência dessas parasitoses. As classes registradas nos mapas por estação do ano foram distribuídas nas seguintes categorias: Alto, Médio, Médio-Baixo e Baixo potenciais à ocorrência dos parasitos. As categorias Alto+Médio-Baixo e Médio+Médio-Baixo potencial representaram 24% e 76%, respectivamente, da área total de pastagem (11.252,62 hectares) analisada na primavera. Enquanto que a categoria de Médio+Alto potencial com 97% e 3% de Médio-Baixo+Alto da área total de pastagem para o inverno. Verificou-se que o geoprocessamento foi bastante eficaz na delimitação e quantificação de áreas potenciais à ocorrência dessas parasitoses podendo ser um instrumento importante no auxílio a decisões de controle a tais eventos. Arq ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF GEOPROCESSING IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE AREAS POTENTIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE SIMULTANEOUS OCCURRENCE OF DERMATOBIOSIS AND THE RHIPICEPHALUS MICROPLUS TICK INCATTLE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEROPÉDICA, RJ, BRAZIL. The objective of this study was to delimit and quantify areas in terms of their potential for the simultaneous occurrence of dermatobiosis and the Rhipicephalus microplus tick in the municipality of Seropédica, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For the association of environmental variables involved in the seasonality of these parasites, the Vista SAGA ® 2007 information system was used. The evaluation function of this program allowed for the overlaying of digital thematic maps of the municipality that simultaneously demonstrated the spatial and temporal distribution of dermatobiosis and the tick in each season of the year. The Signature function evaluated these maps and produced reports with data in hectares and the percentage of areas with different potentials for the occurrence of these parasitoses. The classes registered on the maps by season were distributed in the following categories: High, Medium, Medium-Low and Low potential for the occurrence of the parasites. The categories High+Medium-Low and Medium+Medium-Low potential represented 24% and 76%, respectively, of the total area of pasture (11,252.62 hectares) during the spring, while the category of Medium+High potential represented 97% and 3% Medium-Low+High of the total area of pasture during the winter.
