Geopolitics in the Maldives: Intersection of Foreign Relations and Internal Political Rivalries

Abstract: This article connects the political science literature on small states and the historical coverage of trade in the Indian Ocean to identify a remarkable pattern in foreign relations management of Maldivian geopolitics.
