Characteristics of the placers with increased clayiness of gold-bearing bed and high content of fine and thin gold of the Far Eastern region, as well as technological approaches to processing, including the main process – disintegration, are analyzed. It is established that a reagentless gravitational working up based on generation of acoustic vibrations in fluid media is promising and requires its development. Energy-dispersive microanalysis by means of a scanning electron microscope, phase analysis using a diffractometer, as well as granulometric, dispersed and acoustic analyses have been applied to clay conglomerates selected at a high-clayey section of the deposit under consideration on the Malaya Nesterovka River in Primorskyi Krai. The presence of a wide range of noble metals, including gold and silver, rare earth and other elements was revealed. The data obtained on the composition and properties of clay conglomerates made it possible to determine the need for a more intensive process of the sand micro-disintegration to extract fine and thin particles of valuable components based on expanding the use of gravity technologies. It is noted that the known technologies would not ensure effective extraction of valuable components. A gravitational technology with cavitation reactors, which provide a power inputs reduction by several times in comparison with known devices, is proposed and validated. The hydrodynamic generator design is developed based on the concept of the fluid flow kinetic energy converting into the energy of hydroacoustic vibrations and jet streams of mineral hydromixtures in constrained conditions taking into account the similarity theory in modeling the cavitation processes. The proposed technology will reduce in-process losses of precious and other valuable metals, increase profitability and environmental safety in comparison with known processes.

Efficient development of man-made placers is subject to the introduction of new technological solutions, as well as implementing the possibility of choosing the optimal design and technological indicators of mining and processing equipment, depending on the combination of influencing natural, design and technological factors. The most important research goal is the invention of new innovative technologies. To solve these problems, the direction of research on the development and theoretical substantiation of geotechnology for the development of technogenic alluvial deposits was determined and is being developed on the basis of the intra-dump concentration of valuable components, which ensures the formation of an enriched zone in the near-bed area. In order to develop the technology, the authors carried out large-scale theoretical and experimental studies to study the nature and degree of influence of a number of factors that form the basis of the technology on the migration and concentration of gold particles in the man-made rock mass, as well as determining the technological parameters and modes of flooding and drainage of the rock mass.

A explotação de ouro em cascalhos auríferos presentes nas calhas dos rios da região amazônica é desenvolvida de maneira aleatória, com utilização de dragas de sucção e de escarificação. Tal condição remobiliza e aumenta o volume de sedimentos suspensos ao longo dos rios. Consequentemente, intensifica o assoreamento e a erosão nas margens dos rios. Este trabalho mostra resultados de investigações sísmicas realizadas com objetivo de verificar a eficiência da sísmica de reflexão de alta resolução na identificação de possíveis armadilhas geológicas de cascalhos auríferos presentes na calha do rio Peixoto de Azevedo. As aquisições de dados ocorreram durante o período de cheias em um trecho de 2700 metros do rio, com um perfilador de subfundo regulado para emitir sinais sísmicos nas frequências de 2 a 15 kHz. Os resultados possibilitaram a identificação de 3 fácies sísmicas e 2 superfícies de reflexão. As fácies sísmicas relacionam-se aos sedimentos arenosos atuais da calha do rio Peixoto (Sf1), aos sedimentos argilosos e grossos (cascalhos) mais antigos (paleosedimentos, Sf2), e às rochas ígneas do embasamento (Sf3). As superfícies de reflexão correspondem às interfaces entre os depósitos arenosos atuais da calha do rio e os paleosedimentos (Ss), e entre os paleosedimentos e as rochas ígneas do embasamento (Sr). Ao longo das seções sísmicas notam-se deflexões na superfície Sr que indica potenciais armadilhas de cascalhos auríferos.
